I'll let you know the details regarding delivery rules due to new American tariffs ; Update on September 1st 2025

As I announced on August 30th, due to changes in tariffs imposed by the US government, all deliveries to customers living in the US will now be handled by “Yamato Courier”. If you would like to purchase, I would appreciate it if you would choose Yamato instead of EMS.

Up until now, up to a total of $800 including shipping charges was tax-free, but from now on, taxes and fees set by the US government will be levied at the time of delivery. It would be greatly appreciated if you could pay these amounts to UPS, which handles delivery within the US.

“Flow from ordering to receiving your package and paying customs duties”

・After receiving an order from the customer, the parcel will be handed over to a Yamato branch office.

・I will be notified of the UPS tracking number once the package arrives at the UPS sorting facility at the export airport in Japan.

・Then, I will immediately inform you of this number via email.

・Once your parcel arrives in the US and the amount of import duties and other fees has been determined, UPS will send you an email informing you of your advance payment. 

・After payment of customs duties is confirmed, the parcel will be delivered to you by UPS at a later date.

*If you choose to pay the customs duty directly to the delivery person instead of paying online, a handling fee of $12 will be added. It seems that the process to delivery will be smoother if you pay online in advance.

I have informed collectors living in the US of changes to shipping procedures. I will post any further announcements regarding customs duties.
