Dear collectors,

In the end, my intention may not be to photograph still lifes, but to use transparent motifs as a catalyst for "supplementing light." Lately, I feel that what's important isn't the tools or the software, but the Washi. It's thin and difficult to control, but it complements the light with a suppleness. Anyway, I'm like a fisherman who keeps losing fish with a net full of holes.

The scene, with the strong light like a spotlight shining down on it and the white blur that it creates, is truly moving. For me, who mainly shoots using only natural light, the scenes created by the sunlight in front of me are truly dramatic. Because they are over in an instant and never reoccur. One day, I was astonished to see the positions of light and shadow moving slowly but surely as I followed a single motif. It was then that I first realized the rotation of the Earth. And just like life, it is surprisingly fast.
